White Cap

I went in twice last week for a huge list of supplies, over $1000 worth. I gave the guy my list and he looked it over. He said he didn’t have enough sono tube, so I should just go next door and they would help me out. I thought that was strange as they carried all of the other items, but if he didn’t want my money I didn’t want to give it to them so I left. The guys next door at ICS were AWESOME. They hooked me up with all the things. My list had a size of rebar they were out of, so against my better judgement I went back to whitecap to see if they could at least do that much. I came over at 4:30 and they close at 5. Everyone was sitting around doing nothing. I asked for the bars and the guy laughed at me “not today sweetheart” I was so confused “we close at 5, we aren’t cutting those now”. So I left and went back to ICS and they had dug out what I needed from the back of the warehouse. I asked if they could cut them into 3 feet, and we were out of there with my entire trailer full of stuff in 10 minutes. I’ll never go to White Cap again.

Very disappointed. They hide prices I went there for box of base ties for foundation thinking pay little bit more than my regular supply guy then I pay they charge to my credit card and I left the store I see the receipt later and noticed they charge me $234 bucks my regular supply guy is $67 bucks with tax How could be much difference I take the product back and they give me really bad attitude and they only refunded me $212 They said 10% restocking fee they don’t have anything on the store aware you for this charge

Very poor experience. Very poor custumer service. I called them a day earlier for some rebar bending (Paul took my call) it was agreed that he would have my order ready the next day, I called him back a day after to get an update and he very unpolitely told me that they were too busy and that I should call the SL store and hung up the phone without even asking if I wanted to place the order with them or not. I called him back to ask him why he hung up the phone and told me he had custumer in front of him (which i guess that to him I am not one), after he said that he hung up the phone again saying that he was too busy. Paul needs to understand how to treat custumers or white cap will keep losing custumers left and right.

I spoke with Paul as well… the guy was completely rude while acting like he knows product which he was COMPLETELY wrong. Very uneducated in his lack of knowledge with product/materials. I’m sorry but I’d stick this guy in the back and NOT allow him to answer phone calls or interact with your customers. We’re a small community here and know everyone in this industry. Word spreads like wildfire and one stupid person can and will jeopardized your business. I’ll be glad to tell my subcontractors NOT to help this location out. There’s a little thing called respect and that Paul dude doesn’t have it. How embarrassing for you guys.

Excellent customer service! Assistant manager, Tyan Davis, goes above & beyond his job duties to see his customers are well taken care of👍🏼 Pretty much runs the show there. Hardly see the manager there. Other Employees are very helpful, too:-)
