Walker Sand & Stone

Walker sand and stone is by far the best around! I have been coming here for years and they have a wide selection with great prices! I brought my son with me today and he loves construction trucks, they gave him a kids hat from their company and let him see a loader!

I had a disappointing experience with Walkers Sand and Stone in King George, VA. There was a complete failure in communication about the load situation. I was told that I could fit 4 loads in my pickup. After loading up, we realized one load was sufficient and went back inside to get a refund for the difference. We were then informed that it is a flat rate. After dropping off the load, 20 min later I returned to not only commend the lady up front for saying I need 4 buckets, but to get another since it was supposedly a flat rate for 4 units.(SEE PHOTO ATTACHED) At that point, they told me there had been a misunderstanding and that I would need to pay another $60 for another load. This was not explained to me initially, even after I went back in for the refund. It's clear that they are not there for their customers, only the dollar. Seems like now and days as soon as a business gets established they just hire anyone to take on the work load and forget how they started as entrepreneurs. Sad to see. Especially when the ones they hire have entitlement to something they didn’t even create. Absolutely no respect and common decency to a customer. Not to mention when I did come in to commend on the 4 buckets needed for my project they informed me they do not like to let people know that they are right. Really weird atmosphere. I hope the owners in Alaska (by the way that’s what they informed on) get wind of it, if they even care to know who they are paying to represent there business.

Walker sand and Stone is our go to spot for fill dirt and river rock. They put perfect product into our project! Visited Chrissy and the fine folks at Walker Stone today. They have the best mulch in King George Co and the best prices too. I'm so impressed with the quality. Thanks all.

Excellent service- every sign of professionalism while still maintaining a friendly atmosphere. The driver (DeeDee), delivering our gravel was smiling, polite, and was careful when pouring it out. Every person we came across in that company was professional and offered any assistance they could.

The gravel I got from Walker Sand and stone looks GREAT! The driver was AMAZING not only with her skills but also her professionalism and kindness. She went out of her way to take care of the driveway. They get 10 🌟!!! I'll be recommending them to everyone I know!
