I had an order get canceled by my customer and forgot to relay that to the rock yard. They were able to handle the whole situation very well and were very understanding through the whole process. Whoever their driver was also deserves some credit for being flexible and awesome. I will be a returning customer to Utah Rock Yard!

Great prices! Great customer service! When I first called, I spoke to one of the owners, Josh, who asked how much we needed, and also what we were using it for to make sure we were getting the right kind of rock. I appreciated that because I hate going to order something when I don’t know exactly the type I need. He was super knowledgeable. Our driver Shelly was sure to ask permission before dropping rock in a different spot than we had originally asked for. (The spot we originally wanted was too hard to get the truck level). She was super polite and kind! Josh and Shelly were both great at communicating and made the process super easy! Definitely recommend Utah Landscaping Rock for any and all of your rock needs!

I’m not usually want to leave bad reviews. And I wouldn’t consider this a horrible review. I got the rocks. They were prompt. The people on the phone were super nice. From a customer review point of view, I would give it five stars! My only complaint is that when the rocks got dropped off, I did see a bunch of dirt and dust that came with it when the guy unloaded the truck. I understand that there’s inherently some dirt and dust with rocks. But this appears to be super excessive. I’m having to rinse the rocks multiple times. And this project is taking longer than I had anticipated. I will also point out that it did rain quite a bit and I understand things can get a little muddy. I’m not sure if it’s just a matter of washing the truck more frequently or Whatever needs to be done to minimize the amount of dirt that’s mixed in with the rocks. UPDATE (2-3 months later): Here is an update with the rocks down (3rd picture). Josh gave us some free landscape boulders and some outdoor landscape lights, along with a partial refund. I’m thankful for his willingness to make things right. So, in the end, that was after several hours of rinsing the rocks. We eventually sold some of it for several reasons. It was taking me too long to wash/sift the rocks from the dirt. So we eventually got rid of some of the rocks and changed our initial landscape design. In the end, I’m happy with the decision we made. And it does look great! I was happy with the end result. The work was significant but we got there in the end. After talking with Josh to understand the initial situation, he said it is only dirty like that during the spring right after the snow melts the rock generally is more dirty. Right now (summer) it's dusty but not muddy. It’s much cleaner mid May to end of November.
