I have never left a negative review like this before, but I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes of protecting other homeowners. I hired Sunroc to deliver rock to my property, and unfortunately, the delivery resulted in visible damage to my gates (as shown in the attached photos). As the driver was backing onto my property, he struck and crushed one side of my gates. At the time of the incident, the driver was on a Bluetooth call with his wife, which is especially concerning given the size and weight of the equipment being operated and the potential safety risks. Upon hitting the gates, he did not exit the vehicle to inspect the damage—instead, he continued backing up. To clarify, my gates had been propped open with a large rock, which became dislodged due to a strong gust of wind. However, despite the gate moving into the vehicle’s path, the driver made no effort to stop or assess the situation. When I reported the issue to Dave at Sunroc, I was immediately told the company held no liability for the situation. I was then directed to Stuart, who works with their insurance, but he provided no meaningful assistance and referred me to Laurie, an insurance adjuster. Laurie was both dismissive and unprofessional, showing little regard for the damage or my concerns. I was repeatedly passed from person to person, none of whom showed any genuine care or took any steps to remedy the damage to my property. I now have to pay $3200 to replace my gates. While Sunroc may be a suitable option when everything goes as planned, homeowners should be aware that if anything goes wrong, the company assumes no responsibility and offers little to no support. I strongly encourage others to consider alternative companies—ones that stand behind their work and treat customers and their property with the respect and accountability they deserve.
Whoever manages this place needs to have a serious conversation with their employees about how to operate professionally at work. The forklift drivers will scream at you to move up when you pull up to get material, and then another one will come up and scream at you to reverse and not be where you were just told to be by an employee because they’re not ready yet. Not sure why them not communicating with each other is being taken out on the paying customers, but it has happened every single time I go there. Today an older bald man asked if he could ask me a personal question (something he shouldn’t be asking strangers while he’s at work) and then asked if I ever “struggle with my identity”. Not sure what that’s even supposed to mean but it’s obviously racially motivated; the managers here need to do their job and train their employees to treat customers normally.
I definitely love all the guys at Sunrock. Garrison, Mike and Bubba are always friendly and helpful and answer all my silly questions. My concrete jobs turn out awesome because of their high quality concrete. And the block department everyone is always super helpful and friendly. Thanks Sunrock!!

A sunrock double trailer double load truck almost killed me and my family three years ago when they failed to stay in the left lane for exit entrance when construction took away all shoulders past the green springs exit. We are still very traumatized. We never got a message from the company at all.
