This Star Nursey is the best! The quality of the plants are great and I'll make the drive here, rather than drive to the one on dixie. The people at this one knows a lot about the plants and helps educate you if you have any questions.

The gravel yards scales are all always off by 20 pounds. And the employees always refuse to add an extra 20 pounds. I weighed myself this morning at 160 pounds. Their scale says I am 180. The guy a few weeks ago openly admitted it only goes by 20 pounds increments. When they load gravel they drop it in so slow that you will always get atleast 19 pounds less than what you paid for. 19 pounds is not that much one time, but I did 4 trips today, and I go every few weeks. That adds up to hundreds of dollars of materials each year. On my 4th trip today I asked someone if he could go 20 pounds over, he looked at me like I was an idiot and said no. I explained how the scale was 20 pounds off and he just stood there staring at me like I was off my rocker till I just said nevermind. He ended up only giving me 3,980 pounds when I had paid for 4k, and that's on their faulty scale which puts me at 40 pounds less. And that's not even taking into account the crazy amount of dirt they have in their gravel. To top it all off they set the scale when you are inside ordering the rock, if you get in your vehicle when they pour the gravel, you are getting your weight plus 20 pounds less of the gravel you paid for. Now I would name drop here and say that it was Hunter or Deward, or Benjamin, or Calvin. But the names on the receipts don't match the employees that gave me the gravel even though there was only one employee running the show. Not only that, but we had to find an employee every time we went to get gravel. I say "we" as in every time I pulled in there was a line, and the employee was just missing. You can't call their main phone line as no one picks up, and after a minute it just hangs up. The phone issues is not a new thing either. Whenever I am headed to get gravel in the afternoon if have to call first as very often they close an hour or two before whats listed online. And that's not just this location. Multiple times I've tried to get gravel around 3pm on week days and weekends and they are closed. Calling them always takes multiple attempts, and if I do get someone they always sound unsure of when they are going to take off for the day. To top it all off Star nursery does not give discounts to contractors unless they specifically have a landscaping contractors license. Every other company gives discounts when you have a real business and you spend lots of money there. Other locations are better than this one but still have simular issues. Moving forward I am taking my business to the rock yard in Washington. They are cheaper but a longer drive. But I can't keep spending thousands here only to be treated like an idiot and ripped off.

Love this place! Great selection of everything you need for gardening. Excellent stone selection too for flagstone and all stone needs. Bought a beautiful pot for a succulent I also got there. VISIT THIS BUSINESS!

This is a horrible, horrible Lee managed location went in to grab two things of basil and two things of cilantro. My daughter was in the car for 2 1/2 minutes without even announcing anything over their intercom or their system. They went straight to talking about calling the police on me. My AC was on full blast in my 2020 Mitsubishi outlander. She was perfectly content like I said for the 2 1/2 minutes on a 85° day with the AC full blast in my vehicle this is very very bad that management was allowing for a teenager to make this call Horrible
