Silverton Sand & Gravel

I needed to add some gravel to our 160-foot long driveway. I've used several local Salem companies in the past, but on this occasion, I decided to check in with Silverton Sand & Gravel, and I'm so very glad I did. Silverton Sand & Gravel staff were professional and curteous every time I contacted them. They were flexible, easy to work with, and delivered our gravel on time. Dan from Silverton Sand & Gravel delivered the load. When he arrived, I explained exactly how I wanted to load to be spread. It would require about 6 different areas to spread the gravel. In one area, Dan even said he could spread gravel I needed when I thought I would have to rake part of it by hand. Dan said, "no sense in raking it when I can spread it for you". Amazing customer service! No other company I've used in the past had ever been this helpful; they usually just drop and get on to the next job! I found Silverton Sand & Gravel to be a company of choice when the need arrises for their services. They were on time, on budget, professional, curteous, helpful, and all for a reasonable price! I would recommend this company to anyone in the silverton area. My company has worked with many gravel companies and Dan and the other great employees that I got the chance to work with, definitely stood out. They had prompt response times and even helped me spread all the rock I ordered. Definitely a business I will continue to support.

They are so easy to work with! I love that they are able to text and everyone we talked to went above and beyond to get us the gravel we needed.

Silverton Sand and Gravel did a great job for us recently. Our driveway is difficult to gravel and requires industrial grade trucks to handle the slope. They were easy to work with, and I especially appreciated their ability to deliver the gravel all in one day and send pictures for confirmation. Our driveway will always need some post-spreading work with our tractor, but they were able to get a significant portion spread with surprisingly less gravel than a previous vendor. It was very clear that this group was very comfortable with the larger, more difficult jobs. We'll use them again!

Updated: One of the co-owners contacted me to let me know they were having problems with voice-mail and text messaging. I did order a load of gravel and must say it was a generous amount for the price! Great to see pride of ownership and delivering customer satisfaction. I will definitely do business with them again. Old review: Their voice-mail box is full, they returned two text messages, then nothing. Good price doesn't matter if you can't get any product.
