Delivery over 4 hours late, dropped 34 cubic tons of work at sundown, took entire day off work so they could be late as always, now have to take another day off work to finish driveway, couldn't even park our first night in the driveway due to their truck losing air pressure and dumping half the load at the end of the driveway by the street. Driver was great, company is not.

We are senior citizens visiting Hilo. Ages 76 plus. We went down a road with no markings heading to what we thought was a beach we were taken to earlier in the week. A tall man driving a white pick up with red trim passed us without stopping or saying anything to us. We kept going until we realized it was not the correct road to the ocean. We turned around and came to a gate which was locked. We saw no gate or the NO Trespassing Sign on the now other side of the gate. We had no idea where we were exactly but knew there were warnings around areas we had passed with toxic fumes from The 2018 eruption of the volcano. We were stuck! I called for help while my sickly husband with CHF heart and lung disease tries to flag someone down. Two fine people stopped and told us it was Sanford Quarry and they had locked us in! My husband still on the road saw the man in the white truck again and tried to flag him again. He did NOT STOP. He knew he locked us in. The man in the white truck did NOT say anything. We DO NOT trespass. We are lost! After about 45 Minutes I called Kim at the office who said “well you should not have been on that road” NO Kidding. Why did the man in the white pick-up who smoked tell us to get Out????????? He locked two seniors in an area that could have been dangerous if not fatal. If I had not contacted people for help we may be dead due to the negligence of this company. Kim finally came after more than an hour and gave us attitude! Agreed we should not have been in there we were lost! The man in the truck should had stopped us or said something. My husband waved at him and he did not stop. He locked us in an in unsafe area. Kim should have come immediately. I am not sure she would have even come without the kind strangers assistance! Now in finishing I would like to say that the kind and welcoming people gave us a wonderful time! We were happy to go to farmers markets and many great tours. They have lived through the latest volcanic eruption and hopefully the hurricanes coming this week. Please do not use this reckless company or at least mention that before this bad issue we found all of Hilo’s residents kind and loving and wish them well.
