Rapid Materials

I don’t know if I would necessarily recommend people deter from doing business here, however my experience the other day was quite unpleasant. I called with a few question and spoke with Maria on the phone and she was very rude and just pretty much brushed me off. As someone who’s worked several years in customer experience, this lady should not be working with customers. There was zero care, concern, or empathy towards me when all I had was a few quick questions. Seems like this company needs to either hire more experienced personnel or give their employees better training.

I have no idea how good this business is at their actual job but I can tell you their employees are inconsiderate and rude. I unfortunately got stuck behind one of their trucks when entering the freeway and got pelted with at least 20 rocks flying out of the bed of the truck. My dad and husband are both truck drivers and I know the driver is responsible for making sure his load stays safely on/in the truck. I called the business’ main number and was laughed at by the person who answered the phone when I told her they should be responsible for the damage to my car. The people you hire make your business…your people are making you look very bad.

I needed some DG. Called these guys and they had good prices. I checked out their yard and materials were awesome. They sent me my load quickly. I made a mistake on my order. The supervisor called me and helped make it right. Definitely a great business and would go back again for my rock needs. Thanks a million.

Last time I will do business with them. First order for 2.5 tons fill dirt was fine, they called when delivery was on its way and fill dirt was very clean. 4 days later ordered 7.5 tons of gravel, said they would call for the delivery, found 7,5 tons in the street, didn't call me. Have a 4 car wide driveway where it should have been dropped. That is why I asked for call. Called Raul and asked why I wasn't called as he said he would before delivery, said the driver was supposed to call, called me back and said it was my fault for not giving instructions. MY INSTRUCTIONS WERE TO CALL AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD AND DID NOT. Now I have 7.5 tons of gravel in the street because they couldn't follow through on what they committed to.

I am a contractor and have been using Rapid Materials for several years now. They are fair priced, very quick and communicate well. I can't ask more from a material delivery service. Thank you to Maria, Juan and Raul for always coming through for APEXTURF!
