Not good business. Sales man give us a price knowing they didn’t have all the material that I needed, I told him I was going to drive To a difference supplier who had the material, He stated a price Verbally of the material, 2 minutes later when I saw the invoice he charged Double the price, I asked him if There was a mistake or to adjust it, He stated that that was the original price of the material and There was nothing he could do. I told him that he should’ve told me the original price before he charged my card. Don’t think I’ll be coming back, not good business.
I lost 16 hours because they did not had the materials ready. I will not be buying anything from them anymore.
Had cinderblocks delivered from here to build a cinderblock wall on my property. Fancy computer-generated receipts clearly stated that I could return unused materials within 30 days. 1 type of block was clearly noted as "special order no return or exchange on this item," so I didn't even try to return those. Staff was helpful getting me started on the return. When I brought the 2nd half of the blocks, somebody who looked in charge (I remember talking to him 2 years ago) said that I couldn't return them because they were special order and they would have to send them back. Note that I was already losing 25% of the return to a restocking fee. What else is the restocking fee for anyways? I started to show him my receipts and he sad that he didn't want to argue with me but that he would allow the return this time. When I started to say that it should've been marked clearly, he was condescending and said that I didn't know how things work there. If you're going to have your business open to the public (instead of just tradespeople), don't talk down to your customers. I still find it odd that he was changing the return policy. Patagonia has 3 locations, so maybe he's in charge of the this one and doesn't want to honor the return policy to make things run smoothly or protect sales numbers. I don't know, but I would be cautious giving them my business seeing how they were not wanting to honor the return policy. Instead, I'll give my business to another masonry supply across town, where even though they have old school carbon-copy receipts, they don't treat me like an annoyance.
Bought decomposed granite. Very inexpensive. Friendly staff.
When going to Patagonia ask for gabby ! She has been nothing but positive every single time I walk in! She is also very quick at getting the job done !
