LoRea Topsoil & Aggregate

We were recommended to them from a neighbor and decided to give them a shot. Excellent service from start to finish. A quote was emailed to us for what we wanted, crushed asphalt with delivery. Signed the quote and received a call shortly after to set up a day and time. Two days later, we got the call first thing in morning from Dan the delivery associate to make sure we were ready and to say he was on his way. He was professional and friendly then dropped the load just like we wanted and he was on his way. Lorea did a great job supplying a quality product at a reasonable price. We will definitely be calling upon them again.

I have used LoRea for mulch, stone and sand deliveries. They are wonderful to work with and I will continue to work with them on future projects. They have amazing communication and good prices. They are helpful with questions and trying to accommodate requests. The drivers have left every delivery where requested and been respectful of surrounding property.

Do not use this company for firewood! After receiving my first face cord of wood with the logs cut anywhere from 8" to 24" in length and being too wet to burn they were gracious enough to ship me another load the following week of what looked to be much better wood but it wasn't. It was in fact all hardwood and it was cut closer to the 16 inch length that it should have been but it was more wet than the previous load. The biggest problem I have with this company is Matt the owner decided to call me directly and tell me that after selling 200 plus face cord of wood this year I have complained more than all of those other customers combined. I only called two times to complain about the fact that their website says the wood is 16" to 18" in cut length, it is seasoned for over a year, and ready to burn. Nothing could be further from the truth. His excuse was it's been raining the last 3 weeks and we don't keep this wood covered so what did I expect. He also stated it would be better if we didn't have a relationship going forward and that I should shop elsewhere. Mind you not one time did I raise my voice or use profane language. All I wanted was what I had paid for, ready to burn hardwood. Buyer beware and if you ever have the pleasure of dealing with the owner be ready for somebody that is very rude and unnecessarily short-tempered.

The coming winter season brings with it the need to restock my supply of firewood. After a quick phone call and a reasonable quote I had 6 face cords delivered the next day. Most of the wood was good indoor burn quality with a bit of kindling sized pieces a well. About half a cord went into the outdoor fire pit pile due to bug bores and being "gnarly" and odd sized. Overall I'm happy with their product and service.

We ordered 2 yards of rip rap for our culvert ends. LoRea delivered it next day and it was very clean! No other debris was in the delivery and the driver was able to dump it exactly where we wanted. I will definitely go to LoRea for future landscaping needs!
