Liberty Stone & Aggregates

As quarries go, this one is very small, but it serves a purpose. Leaving Jersey City to go to Stavola or Mt Hope is a long trip, so you can get DGA, 3/4 Stone, and other aggregates. There's one circular road that leads you to the products, and you also get loaded on that same road. The loader operators need people skills. The dispatcher is a very nice guy. I commend them for doing the most with a small space...

Gets the job done. Good shop but very confusing for first timers and those not in construction. For gravel you will need to take a left into the complex and head down a dirt road to a truck weighing spot. Step out of your car and talk with the guy, later drive around and witness a near death experience when a few yards/tones of rocks get dumped on your truck. .. you then swing back for a weigh and payment. Expect to take about 20-30 mins.
