Gilbert's Sand & Stone LLC

I have been going to this business for years for all my landscape needs, usually with fantastic products and customer service. However on this visit it was very different, like night and day. As I walked up to get 3 scoops of mulch I did and admit! I flicked a cigarette butt on the gravel in the main parking lot. Went in delt with a friendy lady at the counter and paid for the mulch. As I was walking out a gentleman said was you smoking? I'll smell smoke he said. I went over and picked up my cigarette butt and proceed to get my mulch. After he was done loading i thanked the gentleman for the years of good service and advised him I would not be coming back, that I would just go to lynchburg from now on due to the cigarette issue. I did let him know I would do a review and he went livid and started recording. I did advise I do have friend that come here and was going to let them know how I was treated, and the response was to go ahead and let them know. Just don't understand the night and day difference. Hopefully this gentleman's day gets better. But for me it's Scott's mulch and more

Great prices, very helpful and friendly staff and owner. I always know my landscaping is going to look beautiful after visiting or getting deliveries from here! If you need mulch or gravel of various types/colors- come here.
