Froggy Bottom Materials

Went here for the first time recently, and I got a yard of what they called supercharged dirt for my garden for $60, which seemed like a great price. Also, they recently opened up their plant nursery, and there were so many options to choose from. I got several plants as well. Would definitely recommend it, and the people who worked there were very nice.

This morning I got wind that Froggy Bottom was expanding to include a nursery. My weekend to do list immediately got changed. Following the long journey from Downtown Montgomery (it’s less than 20 miles), my plant loving soul was blown away by the staff and nursery. When I was welcomed within moments of walking up, and surveying the colors peaking from every corner. I fully anticipated to see high price tags…. I was completely wrong. The prices were more than reasonable for high quality. Nearly every need, variety, and size with unique eye catching options you don’t see in many stores in the area were on-site. I snuck out with my Sudan’s backseat full of plants, plus garden barrier for just over $100. Be sure to make this locally owned heaven a must shop for your landscaping this year. Thank you to the Froggy Bottom team for top knot h customer service…. And whoever Matt is…I heard request for you no less than 6 times while on my excursion…you sir deserve a beer. Happy Planting!

Buyer beware! First off, let me just say that I've used Froggy Bottom in the past for multiple projects (probably spent a couple thousand dollars all told) and have never had a complaint. Until now. I ordered 6 yards of crusher run for my carport. 21'-6" x 30'-9" x 3" deep (works out to just over 6 yards, but I did want to taper it off at the end anyway). By the time I got it all spread out, I was barely 2-1/2" deep and still had an approximately 8' x 8' patch of bare ground! When I called about this, I was told that was not possible; that both the loader and driver insist that I got 6 yards ('cause we all know nobody ever makes a mistake...) When I asked if someone could come on out to verify that the 6 yards I ordered, and supposedly received, does not actually fill the area intended, I was told that was not possible. I figure I'm 1-1/2 to 2 yards short (that's pretty significant for a 6 yard order!) and their customer service is completely unwilling to even look into my claim. Like I said at the top, BUYER BEWARE!

I must say I deal with the public alot and when you deal with caring, knowledgeable, customer friendly, and thorough individuals, it’s a PLUS! We have been shopping with this store for the past 4 weeks from river rocks to super soil to pine needle and the front staff has been awesome but the loaders have been superb!! We have been hauling rocks and soil in the back of our Chevy truck that has rims and was Leary that the truck would get scratched, but it didn’t! Both guys were very gentle and really compassionate about the way the loads were dropped and that goes a long way with us. I can honestly say the pricing is very reasonable and the quality of the bulk is even better! This will definitely be our first choice every time! Thanks team!

Ordered 8 yards of their playground mulch for a pad for my granddaughters new playset. This is an excellent product. The staff was helpful and friendly. Delivery was prompt and courteous. Was able to get 7 yards of sand and 8 yards of mulch out, ready to tackle playset next weekend 😒
