An object fell off Foshee's Truck yesterday and spattered my windshield. It spattered so hard glass came inside the vehicle and could’ve injury me eyes or my grand daughter’s. It hit so hard it scared us to death. I spoke with the driver and he stated to call dispatch. I spoke with dispatch and he requested me to send him pictures to only say “the truck was tarp and so it must came from the tire.” I assure you he knew the truck was tarp before I sent pictures. I’m not sure why I had to speak with dispatch instead of safety. Either way, by reading a previous review I see it’s a norm for them to not take accountability.
I couldn't believe some of the negativity on reviews. I travel all day with my job, covering various communities and vs road conditions. I drive a Land Rover not a Semi, just to be clear. Last week traveling thru Lafollette, TN I was passed by two Foshee Truckers after coming off I-75N. I was IMPRESSED with the driving skills I witnessed. I roll with'em to see the logo. No doubt, they were truck'n thru this small town but NEVER unsafe or jeopardizing anyone's safety and signaled everytime! My work career started in transportation at a DOE facility almost 20yrs ago. I knew these two semi drivers were professionals (a different breed), I seen their driving abilities (15 mile radius). Keep truck'n an be safe ladies an gentlemen
To almost parrot the review another user placed 9 months ago, I had a terrifying experience with a Foshee Trucking driver today. When I first encountered the truck, I was on Technacenter Pkwy. approaching the light to turn onto Atlanta Hwy/ Chantilly Pkwy. To my left, this truck was on the Atlanta Hwy "service road" and had passed a line of at least six cars who are waiting at a stop sign to turn into Technacenter Pkwy. He was in the lane for oncoming traffic and failed to stop at the stop sign or for oncoming cars, nearly hitting me and three other vehicles in the process. He took that sharp turn at about 30 mph and proceeded to run the red light turning onto the interstate entrance ramp. He got up to at least 85 mph (as fast I I was able to go) and was still accelerating. I exited on Taylor Rd. and called the police. Ther truck was maroon and black with a silver gravel hauler attached. USDOT #: 533871. I took a picture of his tag but it was mostly obscured.
Encountered two of their trucks in Chattanooga today. Extreme aggressive and reckless driving. The reason I'm giving it two stars is because I called the company and spoke to one of the owners. He was apologetic and promised that he would call the drivers to speak to them about it. However there is never any excuse for driving a big rig in such a reckless manner.
One of their truckers tried to run me off the road on 85 south tonight. License plate number 311067(AL Tag). The truck was traveling 80+ miles per hour and crossed 2 lanes and nearly ran me off the road. The driver put his high beams on me once he entered into the 3rd lane behind me. And when I didn't move out of his way he changed lanes again and immediately jumped back in front of me. Which caused me to slam on breaks because the back end of the truck was not going to clear the front end of my car. I recorded the tag and will be filing a report with DOT. He could have killed us both tonight. There was no traffic and no need for the truck to be swerving and crossing multiple lanes at such high speeds. The truck wil likely do this again and I hope no one dies because of his reckless driving habits.
