Davis Sand & Gravel

We have ordered from here three times and each time something has gone wrong. Once they drove through the neighbors yard which was completely unnecessary and rutted up their yard with no offer to fix it. Another time they flaked on us and were a no call no show so the project had to be postponed. Then they called the next day and said “we are on our way” as if they can pick and choose when is convenient and that we should drop everything and be there when they say. That day did not work for us and it should have been delivered the day before as scheduled. Lastly, they not only backed partly through the neighbors yard but the load was dumped partly into the neighbors yard which was also not necessary considering the first two loads were dumped in the same space and did not spill over into the neighbors yard. Thankfully our neighbors are reasonable people but we shouldn’t have to keep apologizing on the behalf of the drivers who aren’t following directions. The quality of the “top soil” is absolutely terrible. It is more rocks and hardened chunks of dirt than actual top soil. There are a ton of different types of rock mixed in as if they just scraped the ground where the spillage from loading other trucks happens and then threw it in our load. We found barbed wire, multiple types of plastic, metal, and A LOT of random wood/logs/branches.

Such a great small town business with awesome owners. They take good care of their equipment and always look professional. When they come out to deliver your products the drivers are friendly and knowledgeable, they will do what ever they can to help you have a pleasant experience.

It's where I get my rock and concrete. I would do anything for those people. Very lucky to have them in the community! 6 years ago I was able to get a Davis sand and gravel zip up hoodie. I have worn it to ruin. I would proudly wear another!

I ordered white rock from them. The price was good and very friendly and helpful staff.
