Big Bug Sand & Gravel

Called around to get gravel for our mountain cabin which is tough to get to. For a third of the price of other places we got excellent customer service, and an awesome driver and delivery. Couldn’t have been more impressed! Thank you so much!

Enjoyed visiting and ordering gravel here. We try to use local suppliers for our ranch. Gravel prices are competitive but ask about delivery charge. In our case it came to $16 a mile!

First time I called I was quoted $30 a ton and was told they would load my truck up no problem. Come time to get the gravel the price changed from $30 a ton to $75 a ton to load it in my truck or I could pay $140 to deliver at $30 a ton. Thanks for misinforming me and $75 buck to load my truck with 1 ton of cheap gravel NO THANK YOU. I was able to get a Yard for $30 this is more than the ton I would have received threw Big Bug with no delivery fee as I made a deal to purchase multiple yards. I just purchased a home here in Mayer and will buying around another 30 tons in the next several months. I will keep my business in Prescott, Cottonwood and or Phx before I pay this outrageous 1 ton price ever.

The operator/ owner is very standoffish. The only reason anyone goes here is because it's the only place to get DG without going to phx
