Richmond Sand & Stone, LLC

With the recent heavy rains, I need a dump truck full of sand ASAP and they came through which saved my garage from getting 6" of water in it.

I called and ordered 5 tons of crushed stone, w a $50 delivery fee. I was told if I ordered 6.5 tons+, I would not have to pay the $50 fee. So I called back immediately and ordered 6.5 tons. Their small truck broke down, and they delivered 7 tons w the big truck. I still got a $50 delivery fee, because my order was not 10 tons. When I called a couple times no one could help me. I finally got someone on the phone and they said there is nothing they can do. Not great customer service.

I called at 10 AM to place an order, the woman took my name and phone number and said she would call me back because she was with a customer. NEVER call me back. So I called the next day, and after being on hold for over 10 minutes I was hung up on!! Horrible customer service!! I placed my order elsewhere.

Friendly staff, materials priced well, and I was in/out within minutes... "small orders are welcomed" as well. I'll be back to Richmond sand & gravel for my future needs.
