Overall this is a great company with which to do business. Their delivery is prompt, and their drivers will try to accomodate the placement of the product, in my case 3 yards of sand and 5 yards of augmented top soil, to the best of their ability. Some drivers have a little more skill than others in terms of placement, but considering they are the low cost provider; the quality of their product, and the rapidity of service, they are unbeatable in the area. For me, what is an added plus is they are a small business, I got the impression entirely family owned and run, with immediate phone pickup, good answers to questions, and solid knowledge of their product.

I called on Friday afternoon to have mulch delivered to a property first thing as soon as possible on Saturday morning. They told me they could deliver it between 7:30-8am, which they did just that. Mulch was delivered around 7:30am, and I could not be happier. Amazing customer service, reliability, and quality of mulch. Highly recommend.

Just had a cord of firewood delivered. Underdog was super quick to respond, showed up first thing in the morning, and dropped off some great looking wood. My shed is 36”x92”x55” and filled up to the gills. Have some leftovers and about 4-5 logs not shown (so almost exactly 128 cuft). Moisture content is 15-22% when split and tested. Not bad for mid season, just have to pick and choose a bit.

I've been ordering bark mulch and mushroom soil from Underdog for about three or four years now. The quality of their mulch has always been good, and the mushroom soil was excellent. I used it all over my lawn like a top dressing, and also put it all over my rose and flower beds before we put the mulch. My lawn, roses and perennials were the best they've ever been last year! But the most amazing thing was the truck driver. How he maneuvered that truck between my gate posts was amazing, really amazing. Then he had to be careful of the powerline that was crossing the very small area in my driveway where I asked him to put the mulch. I was terrified he would hit it, but no, all was well and my mulch was placed exactly where I asked for it to go. I'll put an award winning photo here, it's of a shrub rose called "Lyda Rose". I took this photo last summer and won first place with it in an American Rose Society photo contest! PS I am a Landscape Designer (Temple U) and also a licensed Horticulture Judge for the American Rose Society.

I’ve used Underdog a bunch of times and they’re always reliable and deliver good quality bulk mulch, soil and rock at a reasonable price. I did see a couple of complaints, so here’s some advice for people ordering for the first time. 1) They have a busy schedule running big trucks so they will fit you in where they can, especially for a small order of a few yards of product. Call early in the morning for a same day delivery and it’s best to be around especially if it’s your first order. 2) Bear in mind they are delivering in a big 5-10 yard dump truck which has limited maneuverability. They always graciously reverse up my long driveway and I put a tarp out where I want the product. The driver knows me by now so it’s easy.
