Update 2022: Bought more retaining wall for a Phase 2 improvement. The same 2 ladies I dealt with last year were in the office and were very helpful. I appreciate that they were able to lookup my last delivery and match the block I need. I also get the same delivery driver I had last time, so that continuity is very nice. More home improvement projects are underway... Picked out the retaining wall blocks and toppers and had them delivered. Got what I needed and the delivery guys were very helpful.
Great Service Products and Delivery 👍 The Grass Stone is perfect for our project!! Will definitely do more business with them!!
We have bought lots of stone and many loads of gravel here over the years and have always been happy with the customer service in the office and in the yard. I have used the same trailer for 20+ years and know how much I can haul in it. I bought 1/2 yard of gravel today and the load was short. I went into the office and complained and the gal said they would take care of it. Outside, a guy with a smart alek attitude came over to my trailer with a shovel full of gravel, threw it in and said, "there." Completely unacceptable.
Good block and prices but their front desk lady is just rude.
I was really happy with the products and service until I went to buy a 3rd hearthstone for my fire place. We had bought 2 -24x24 stones, but needed a 3rd to cover our length. When I went to buy the third stone I was advised by the employe (who was very nice) that they could in fact get me one stone that would cover the entire space. I was very excited because when we had bought the first two 24"x24" stones they did not have any options on the yard that would cover both the length and width. They had one on display that was 18”x80"-ish, but we needed the width to be 24” so we had decided to to the large squares and have a seems instead of a whole slab. So wow, we were THRILLED they could now get a whole slab! I returned the first two stones and up-paid to have the new large stone brought down from Eugene. Needless to say I was DEVASTATED when I came to pick it up and it was the same 18”x81” stone that had been on display that was not wide enough. They were very clear that we needed our stone to be 24” wide, that was never a debate. As they loaded it up in my car I was having a heart attack and I could tell they felt bad for ordering the wrong product. I was told then and there that if it was in fact the wrong size when I got it home to my husband that I could return it without any problem. Unfortunately it took a few weeks for us to return it because they are only open Monday through Friday 8-5 and my spouse and I both have jobs. My husband had to use a day off to return it and to my surprise we were charged a $40 restoring fee for their mistake. What a bummer, I understand re stocking fees, but when they company orders the wrong product I feel it is good customer service to make it right and do whatever it takes to make the customer feel cared for.
