They create dangerous construction zones with fall hazards and then when you confront them about it they make sarcastic comments. I tried to get across the road safely and even asked some of the workers where it was safe to cross and I got rude remarks back and then tried to cross at the actual crosswalk and fell on their terrible concrete job. All the lady driving said is I hope youโre okay. If you ever need any work done I would go with Wildish they actually know what they are doing and have nice employees.
A driver from this company was going 70-80 mph on Main Street in Springfield heading towards Thurston tonight (8/13/24) around 6:45pm. I got a picture of the license plate YASH249. This is completely unacceptable, my child lives off this road along with many others. I seriously hope this driver doesn't end up hurting someone or themselves. I will also be giving this information to the local sheriff so that they can keep an eye out for him. EDITING TO ADD: This same driver also honked at us and flipped us off. I would highly recommend a drug test on this employee he seems to be very aggressive and should not be on the road.
If youโre a concrete contractor in the Eugene area I would highly advise against using knife river mud. If youโre a home owner and you see a knife river truck pull up to your home for your concrete project, Iโd advise against allowing them to pour. They do not stand by their products and will blame the contractor for their terrible products. We poured a 24 yard driveway that had shrinkage cracking as soon as it was floated. We documented the process and called quality control and they blamed it on the contractor for lack of control joints which there were plenty of. This wasnโt the first time we have had this issue, but it will be the last. Riverbend offers a much better product and Iโd recommend giving them a call instead.
Today a knife river dump truck hauling a trailer just about ran us off the road. We were heading eastbound on 126 several miles before Noti hauling a 26' camp trailer. It was a very scary situation. Thankful for a wide shoulder and my husband handling the situation so well.
They just leave their signs everywhere so you dont know if they're relevant.
