Miles Sand and Gravel does not compensate people for damage caused by their trucks. I was driving to work on March 3, 2020 on Highway 3 in Silverdale. There was a truck in front of me. A large rock from the unsecured bed of the truck cracked my windshield beyond repair. It was frightening. I pulled up alongside the truck and saw the Miles Sand and Gravel logo on the drivers door. When I arrived at work I immediately called the Silverdale office of Miles Sand and Gravel and explained to them what happened. They put me in touch with their claims department. After filing my claim I received a letter declining payment for my windshield damaged by their truck. They said I can't prove it was their truck. Really? I felt like the were calling me a liar. Their truck damaged my vehicle and they refused to pay for it. If this is how they handle claims against them, Miles Sand and Gravel would not be a company that I would do business with.
