Great customer service, excellent products. I got 6 yards of mulch, to be delivered to two different spots on my property. They were able to schedule the delivery within a week, at a time that was convenient for me. The delivery driver was friendly and professional had PERFECT aim He placed the two piles exactly where I needed them.

I’m so impressed. I had such a good experience with these folks. Ken, who did our delivery, took the time to inch his way into an extremely tight spot in our backyard So we wouldn’t Have to bring 2 yards of Compost and chips into our backyard one wheelbarrow at a time. I’m so grateful and I will definitely be coming back to Portland Sand and gravel next time.

I had an unexpectedly delightful time getting my gravel with these guys. Called up for some advice and Kevin was very kind, friendly and patient with my questions, and talked me through options and how much I'd need, and invited me to come and have a look at the various kinds of gravel to get a hands-on idea. Went there and they run a pretty impressive operation and yes, going in person to look at the materials does help in making an informed choice. Christine at the desk was really lovely and then the delivery guy was as kind and helpful and friendly as anyone could be! Highly recommend.

Everyone is so nice and patient. The lady who took our order was patient to answer our numerous questions. The lady who called us to remind/confirm before delivery driver headed out our way was so nice and enthusiastic. The delivery driver who delivered our order was so skilled, friendly, and patient to carefully dump the loads at our requested specific areas. Nowadays good service is so refreshing and appreciative! Friendly service, helpful answering questions about the products even down to the pH and source of materials. The split truck deliveries are a plus, I ordered 5 yards total, 3 compost, and 2 of the pumice blend. Delivery costs are reasonable, see pic for size comparison with a 1.5 cu.ft. bag - definitely more economical to bulk order soil for raised beds, large planters and/or to amend yard soil. Would order from them again, thanks!
