Garden Center of Las Cruces

DO NOT USE BLACK ROCK OR GARDEN CENTER FOR ANY WORK! I cannot articulate how much I regret doing business with Megan and Jesus. At best, they are grossly incompetent at management and at worst, they are habitual liars. In a year long, fiberglass pool installation, they did complete a single thing on time, correctly, or with any degree of quality. Jesus, without missing, over promised and under delivered. Megan would never follow up with any detail despite multiple requests to simply keep me informed of delays. Specifically, as a testament to their ineptitude, their electrician (Jonathan) mounted hardware against my neighbors house. They failed to follow code when placing the equipment pad, never called for a dig permit resulting in a gas line rupture. For those reading, feel free to respond and I can provide further examples. All I can leave you with is trust your business carefully and once you know a company lies to one customer, you know they will do it again. Hopefully they will be out of business soon! Edit: The auto reply provided should tell you something. They will neither investigate nor follow-up.

I called every place in Las Cruces and El Paso and everyone was almost double the price. I didn’t have good experiences in dealing with other stone suppliers over the phone. The stone supplier across the street from Las Cruces Garden Center never called me back after two times trying and even going down there! ! I talked to Isaac over the phone and went down there and I received excellent customer service! All I can say is wow. They were the only ones that had the tan color stones in stock! It was $38 rainbow tan for a ton instead of $65 and $60 for a ton like other places. Prompt delivery and he helped me with every question I had. I will never go anywhere else and thank you Isaac for absolutely perfect customer service!!! Maggie

Good luck getting anyone on the phone, been calling for days trying to get a ask a few questions and make a purchase. But I no one has answered the phone, I operate my business and work and still can make myself available. I would be coming from quite a ways but if I can't get anyone on the phone in days then I can only imagine what doing business with them would be like, not worth the drive in hopes there even open or have what I need

NEVER hire this company. They will way over promised and severely under deliver. Your quote will go up way higher than what they tell you the work will cost. The work is subpar at best. They will cut every corner possible and hope you wont catch it. But when you do find major problems they will try and blame anyone but themselves. We literally woke up one morning to our pool wall caving in and the water overflowing in our yard because they left the water hose on all day and all night. They left our pool job unfinished after over a year of working with them. We were told our pool would take 6 months it took over 12 before it was even remotely ready to get into and 1.5 years later is still not done. They are now telling us they wont connect our heater so we can get a final inspection and use it because they did not include charges for that. Excuse me!!!! What legit pool company would charge for a heater and instillation of the heater but not the connection to the gas line??? There is no integrity in the people who operate this company. No exaggeration, you could buy a small home for the amount of money they charged us to put in a pool and landscape the backyard. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a "Professional" company in my life. Just a testament to how universal this issue is with Garden Center, we have 4 people in our neighborhood alone that have had identical experiences with Garden Center and are more than dissatisfied. One of our neighbors is even pursuing a lawsuit.

I hired the Garden Center to build a patio on the back of my home. They spend a year and never could complete the project. They had several failed inspections. Didn’t pay the sub contractor. They had to redo much of the work they did do. I finally had to fire them and hire another contractor. This will cost me more money and I have lost monies paid to the Garden Center. The new contractor has to again redo some of the work. I would not recommend using the Garden Center.
