Wethersfield Building Supply

The steps in front of my house were falling apart so I hired someone to cap them with decorative stone. I ordered the stone from Wethersfield Building Supply. I waited over one month before the stone was delivered. Much to my disappointment they had delivered the wrong stone. The stone looked pretty good on the steps so I decided to keep it and work with what they had sent me rather than wait another month or better for the correct stone to be delivered. Because the stone that they did deliver was smaller than what I had originally paid for I ended up running out of material with my steps 3/4 of the way completed. I visited the store and ordered some more of the stone that got delivered. Today is exactly 2 months after ordering (paying in full at time of purchase) and I still have not gotten my stone. To make matters worse I have tried calling several times and nobody answers the phone, I have left messages and they do not return the calls. Today I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully I will be able to have my stone delivered or get a refund. If you are considering using this company to purchase materials, I strongly recommend against it.

Secretary talked me into buying metal panels to align brick veneer and they didnt fit this application. She wouldnt let me return them. I wanted to exchange them to finish the bottom of the chimney with stone for a nearly even swap. She kept cutting me off saying no. She has the constitution of a very rude person. Don't do business with these people.

They are very unprofessional. Whenever you call the store no one picks up the phone. You have to call for days in order to get someone. I had call a few times about my order that was place for three months ago I paid full price for everything and whenever I call and ask about my order no one have an answer for me when they do pick up the phone. I call a leave a few messages for Jonathan the manager he did not return my call. I will not recommend this place. Big disappointment….worst costumer service I ever come across. I would not recommend this store. I wish the was a star below one because they do not deserve a one either but I had to give a star in order to write a review.

Bought the material On a Tuesday. Crushed rock and construction sand. Delivery was set for Thursday of the same week. Which I thought it was great. However after many reasons and missed phone call here I am Friday of the following week still no materials and my job is set for today. Terrible communication 😪

Excellent customer service and phenomenal stone supply selection! I had my patio redone and these were the guys to get me my stone! Loved working with them.
