Hamilton Township Ecological Center

A feather in the township's cap. Good for DIY's and the ecologically motivated for disposing of recyclables and yard waste year round. Free for township residents. Also a good place to get free mulch and if your patient used patio blocks and bricks. Don't bring your prized vehicles though. Pick up trucks a plus.

Arrived today between 12-2pm only to have 2 young guys working by the cardboard pile snicker and laugh at my disabled family member right in front of us. I didn't realize ableism was tolerated at this facility. Truly disgusted...

Nice mulch & top soil also you can drop off wood/leaves /trees /TV's and plastic/ concrete /cardboard/paper /tires with no rims. Great place for recycling!!!!!!!!

Great place. You are able to recycle almost anything. And mulch and compost are free. Why wouldn't you visit if you live in Hamilton?
