It’s worth your time and money to go somewhere else. It seems the ownership has changed and it’s gone spiraling downward recently. The customer service is horrid. The product is not what you want to spend your hard-earned money on. Not certain, but it would make sense if Jeff and the lady at the front desk are married? They are both really nasty and unfriendly and not willing to help. Kindness goes a long way, even if you just pretend. But the lack of respect and customer service here is going to put them out of business. I’ll add pics of some of the “squares” that we received. One entire pallet of the 4 we got was like this and 2/4 were very “iffy” to say the least. Also, my husband received an off color comment from Jeff about paying for sex during one interaction :| Really unnecessary. The next day when he went to return the empty pallets, he’d hustled home from work in order to get there before they closed at 6:00. He arrived to the front office at 5:55. The “nice lady” at the desk sat there and just repeated over and over, “Yard’s closed…Yard’s closed… Yard’s closed...” No other words. All he needed to do was throw the pallets in the back. But nope. And it was 5 minutes before close and he’d rushed home to make it there in time and was still turned away even with 5 minutes to spare. Just to drop off empty pallets. So he had to make another trip the next day. Absolutely inexcusable behavior. We won’t be back and would suggest you spare yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. Most people would be happy to have your business. Not these people.

I have been "shopping" around looking for the best price on St Augustine sod. Ft Worth Grass & Stone was by far the best price. Prior to picking it up, I wondered if I would be getting what I was paying for, but I was extremely happy with what I received. I called in advance to verify if they had any in stock, and Jenny & Steph, who always answered the phone made sure I knew that it ran out quick each day, and encouraged me to get there early. I was expecting to have to load the pieces myself since it wasn't a complete pallet, but the guys in the back (Ronnie & Garrett) were extremely kind and helpful and loaded everything I needed. The sod was full, green, and healthy looking! I can't wait to get this in my yard! I'll be telling my friends and neighbors to buy their sod from Ft Worth Grass & Stone vs the box stores where you have to pay 4x as much per piece. I'll definitely be back!

We've been very happy with Fort Worth Grass and Stone. The quality of the sod, topsoil and stone are excellent and the office and yard staff are exceptional. This is our third lawn renovation over the last five years, and we did our homework up front before ordering our sod and purchasing the topsoil. Jenni in the front office has always been pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. And Ronny in the yard has given great service and some pretty darn good advice over the years. Here is my advice: Get the information up front. The website is pretty thorough as far as pricing and fees. Do your prep first. The final product is dependent on how much effort you give the yard beforehand. And lastly, the sod you roll out is not going to look like an established Southlake lawn. Be prepared for a little disappointment like brown patches or rough seams. Frequent watering and an application of 15-15-15 after the first full week will yield striking results. We were not able to install our sod until mid November of last year and the payoff was the lawn that appeared in April of this year. This past week we prepped and sodded both side yards, including our next door neighbors. Same great service and product. We would recommend Fort Worth Grass and Stone to our neighbors and friends.

Wonderful customer service. The lady at the front is a unicorn. She's patient, pleasant and prompt! The guys loading the grass are so helpful, quick and efficient! They all seem to be working very hard. I loved the St. Augustine I bought. It is so beautiful and what a great price too! What an amazing company. I was very impressed.
