Maui EKO Systems

My yard is just sand. So I purchased Eko's premium compost to build my yard's soil. It's the best deal at $50 for a cubic yard. You need to purchase it at the Eko office first. You can call ahead if you have questions; the staff is helpful. After payment, the office staff will alert the loading staff to expect you. You can line your truck bed with a tarp if you like. Last load is 230p. The steaming hot, pungent compost was slowly loaded into my small pickup truck's bed in 3 passes. Your truck will be covered with a layer of compost. The compost filled the whole bed to the top. You will need to cover the load with a tarp. Again, the compost is steaming hot so you will want to use protective wear like gloves. The compost is rich, dark, and finely filtered. I am really pleased with the quality and cost.

Easy to manage taking yard waste...both times I've gone nice people have helped me unload the truck.

If it keeps it out of the land fill it's a good thing. Make the effort with your green waste. Part of being pono.

Easy to unload compostable material. Road to the site is a little rough, needs to be repaved.

Be prepared for heavy dust when dropping off green waste.
