So. Customer service: awesome BUT the expert pond guy waaaaay over sold me product. I explained I was new at ponds (house I bought in the winter had a surprise pond for me) and guy at the counter got the 'expert' for me. I told him how big the pond was and he just kept saying, "oh yea, it'll be fine". I walked out w 5 water lillies and 5-7 ea of lettuce and hyacinth. These floating plants/flowers are extremely invasive and multiple quickly once the weather is right. I spent just over 300$ for plants and easily could've bought half of that. I was pulling out huge amounts weekly towards the end of the year. Before this some of the plants turned black. When I called, they said I could bring them in so they could look and see if it was an issue on their end & they'd replace. It's a 45min drive so I didn't bother. Glad I didn't because I ended up w too much anyway. All the plants were beautiful though, especially the lillies. I made the mistake of ordering water lettuce off Amazon this year because I didn't want to make the drive for a handful of water lettuce and to shop at a place that over sold me.....but I'll be doing it anyway if the local nursery doesn't have any. My lillies survived winter, although not as pretty as when I 1st got them. I also bought some river rock here. I had no idea it was self serve, but an employee came and helped me. With all of this, they have an awesome selection of aquatics beginning of season (not so much later-but no one does) and lots of rock options, but as someone else stated: know your stuff & what you need, otherwise you'll get sold more than what you need. I need the water lettuce as it's the frogs faves and not sure how big my lillies will be this yr. The reeds and the elephant ear were also purchased here. Reeds also survived winter; elephant ear, as expected, did not. Price for the rock seemed cheap to me, but maybe because the plants were so expensive 😆 . Water hyacinth are extremely invasive and actually illegal in some places. Their roots are massive and black, and wrap around other plants. The root system, being so large, suck up all the nutrients and block the sun. I was taking the plants out and cutting off the roots for awhile before having to just pull out handfuls. Just an FYI if you're looking at the aquatics.

I was pretty new to the whole bring your trailer in get it filled up, weigh in/weigh out process, and these folks made it pretty easy for me. Answer my questions got me pointed in the right direction and the price for rock was pretty darn good.

Absolute Crooks! I was charged twice the price as Patio Town for pulverized dirt. When I got the load home and tried to spread it, it was completely lumpy with boulders of clay. I couldn’t imagine how this would increase my labor in a simple yard leveling job. So… I returned with the load and explained I wanted my money back so I could return it. They said absolutely not! It was only 30 min. after the purchase. The manager Matt and his supervisor were so rude. They continued to argue with me about the quality. No returns! I was so mad. They guy stood in my door way so I couldn’t even close my door and leave. I won’t spend a dime at this place ever again. They are ridiculous.

This is my go-to place for anything hardscape related. They have the best prices and quality for mulch, rock, retaining wall supplies, and fill dirt. Never been sorry about anything I bought there

It started with a phone call that I as handled professionally and promptly with estimating pricing...even when I asked them to help me compute the amount needed, so helpful! Morning of delivery, a email tracking was shared - what? So helpful. Then the driver - Noe called to let me know he was on his way and we discussed the dropping point. He arrived on time and worked with us to confirm dropping point, so wonderful. Recommend this place to all for all landscape materials and projects!
