Carso Landscape Supply

This is our 2nd time ordering stone from Carso and so this is a review of this most recent delivery. First was a year ago where we experienced no issues, they were timely and we received exactly what we wanted/ordered, 1 ton, 1" desert spice which is a combination of red/black/bits of white. This time around (same order 1 ton, 1", desert spice), not quite the same experience. The stone was delivered on time, but it is NOT the same quality as our first. I think we received something similar but it has something else with it (I know it's a natural product so variations can happen), BUT this order has A LOT, I mean an enormous amount of small pebbles and dirt included. We were rudely told that we agreed to accept the pebbles/dirt because now they make you sign a contract of some sort (something else not experienced previously.) No, no we did not. We ordered and expected to receive 1" stone, nothing more, nothing less. Not sure if ownership or management changed at Carso, but we won't be back due to the poor quality and rudeness of staff when we contacted to inquire what happened. There are plenty of other rock purveyors in the valley.

I purchased a few tons of quarter minus. Was delivered no problem. I also order 3 tons of 3/4 inch gravel I took a sample so i get the same exact gravel Sent me 3 tons of diferent gravel Once i washed it, even a blind guy could tell the diference. Talked to one of the sales lady. They want to charge me for another 3 tons. I told them it was not my fault. They look the gravel and sent me the wrong. One. What kind of customer service is this. Friendly staff. Just if you mest up fix your errors. Dont blame it on customer.

I don't really want a monthly payment so it's nice that I can rent a skid steer when l need one. Great rates and friendly staff. Highly recommend Karso!

I didnt know anything about rock and needed to fill in some places in my yard. I called a few times over two weeks, they texted me photos of samples, helped me size up how much I needed, and got it delivered exactly when I requested. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. I didn't expect this level of customer service from a business that seems mostly b2b. The driver was awesome as well. Thank you for the great experience.
