Yamashiro's Building Supply

Been going to Yamashiro's since my engineer dad took us as kids. Now, I go for everything I need to clean /repair the family house for my mom. Staff are friendly and helpful, so glad they are an alternate to 'big box' hardware!

Excellent customer service. Building supply workers are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The cashiers are always courteous and friendly. Just walking to the register I was asked if I needed any assistance. Superior store to buy from. Wear a mask in the store.

The workers here are fantastic. So helpful and it's so cool to go into a store where they remember your name. They always have the hard to find hardware that I need to fix things in my circa 1953 home. Reasonable prices and on certain days you might also find fresh Kahuku corn available for purchase. Saves the 30 mile drive to get it from the source.

The staff was very helpful and patient showing me, actually demonstrating! how to use my new wheedwacker!!!! I am so grateful! Also, it has an open public bathroom, which was very clean. They have lumber as well as sand and other gravels, etc. Some of the merchand is is a little dusty. I guess, not selling those particular items too fast. But I rate it 5 for customer service, and breadth of merchandise.
