Ken-Mulch

You’re dealing with a family owned company with superior customer service. I would much rather buy their products than from a large corporation. I get better deals and they offer delivery for extremely reasonable prices. They literally aim to please. They are involved in a lot of charitable events and donate/ contribute.

The service was great, no complaints there. I am, however, disappointed in the quality of the compost. It's horse bedding compost (aka manure) so it's touted to be very high quality and weed seed/pathogen free, hence the $39 per 1/2 yd price. What I picked up was wet and odor filled slop that hardly passes as compost. Finished compost is supposed to have no odor and retain some moisture, so to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. For the advertised quality and price I expect a finished product that doesn't require extra steps taken

These folks were great at getting an order to me. They delivered within hours of making the call, on a Saturday, no less. Don't expect that in the summer; but, still better than what I expected in winter months. They also have an easy process system for payment with credit cards (bonus points for letting me get points) at the time of delivery. I will certainly be recommending Ken-Mulch to my friends, neighbors and real estate clients!

Great company. Highly recommend for rock / mulch purchases. Delivery is always on time and prices are competitive. They are also competitively priced on their scrubs and trees. They went out of their way and found a special scrub that no other nursery carried in Louisville. Employees are always friendly and helpful.
