I am starting my first DIY project and came here based on a recommendation from a trusted source. Jeff at Crawford Material Co. was patient and helpful, and took the time to answer my questions and explain things to me which I really appreciated. We ordered some sand and gravel for an outdoor fire pit and they delivered it a couple days later. Thanks for your help, I’ll let you know how it goes!

Been here many times for paver base and leveling sand. They sell it by the “scoop” which I guess is a little over 1/2 a cubic yard. Prices are good and everyone I’ve worked with has been helpful to me as just a DIYer.

All your masonry needs. Pro or diy. Lots of people working here. The yard help to get your truck loaded and out asap. This place is busy so expect to wait a little during busy times. They also have their own trucks. Delivery is an option. Great Chicago family run business.

i was here just today, and did not buy anything, i was looking for information and boy, very helpful and gave me guidance, showed me products and i left with a brochure. definitely a place to go and i'll be back!
