Everytime I shop at Dunn I have a great experience and wonder why I don’t use them more often. I needed a door they no one else could get. Not even a listing. Dunn found it without a problem, ordered it, and came in 2 days later. The price was great and quality was better than another door I purchased from a big box store. To make the door from the Home Depot work I had to buy additional hardware and 3D print a part. I wasted so much time when I should have just went to Dunn. Thanks Cristian and everyone for your help.

I am a B2B client and have been working with this store for several years now. However, my most recent order resulted in a disappointing experience. To put it briefly – poor service, poor customer care, and unprofessional handling by staff. About a week ago, I placed an order (similar to one I had placed at your store 1.5–2 years ago). I visited the store twice to go over the details and paid over $700. The promised turnaround time was one week, with a specific delivery date. After six days, I called to confirm that my order was ready for pickup. The manager I spoke with was unable to give me a clear answer and said they would call me back (I had the impression that if I hadn't called myself, no one would have even remembered about my order.) A few hours later, I received a call from a different manager – the one who had taken my order – and here is what I was told: My order could not be completed because no one had understood anything. I was told that it could not be fulfilled based on the drawings and specifications that had already been reviewed and approved. They informed me it would now take an additional week to complete the order — without making any attempt to accommodate the situation, offer a discount, or propose any urgent resolution. Unfortunately, the entire experience was extremely poor, and I will make every effort to avoid working with this store in the future.

Not a customer, but the one-liner/jokes on the hoarding board of the shop are very funny and make me smile every day I cross the shop on my commute to work! Kudos to the person who comes up with the funny one liners!

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the ongoing issues surrounding my bi-fold door purchase from Dunn Lumber, made on 6/26/2024. It has been over three months, and I still do not have the correct door in hand. The experience has been nothing short of frustrating, marked by constant delays, incorrect replacements, and a complete lack of urgency to resolve the problem. The original door was delivered broken on 7/26/2024, and I immediately requested a replacement. However, it took until 9/4/2024—a full month and a half—before any action was taken. Worse still, the replacement part sent was incorrect. This has left me stuck with a broken bi-fold door and an incorrect part, with no clarity on when or if the correct replacement will arrive. The delays caused by this order have thrown my entire project into chaos. My hardwood flooring cannot be completed without the door being installed, which means my cabinets and appliances cannot be put in either. I am now at risk of losing all my scheduled contractors, who are understandably frustrated by the ongoing delays. There is no guarantee that I will be able to get back on their schedules once this mess is finally sorted out. The manufacturer, Marvin, is solely responsible for this debacle. Their repeated errors, lack of coordination, failure to acknowledge their mistakes, and absence of any urgency to resolve this customer grievance have created a disastrous experience for me. Given the continued failures and lack of confidence in your ability to provide the correct product in a timely manner, I had no choice but to cancel the order. I have since reframed my patio door and ordered a different two-panel door from a smaller, local manufacturer, who was able to deliver the product correctly in just two weeks—highlighting the stark contrast between their efficiency and the poor service I received from Dunn Lumber and Marvin. Marvin products on display in Dunn Lumber are enticing, warning everyone here to not fall for it. Also requesting Dunn Lumber to stop carrying Marvin products, atleast certain products like this from the catalog. I do like to acknowledge though that Dunn Lumber sales rep (not taking names) and sales manager involved were helpful and did what they could, i am all for improvements, they know where they can improve to address the issue when something like this happens. I am still waiting for a refund that Dunn Lumber and Marvin promised. Refunding the original amount itself isnt enough to cover the expenses and delays i incurred but i am not expecting anything more than that. An expensive lesson learnt to not buy from Dunn Lumber who cannot stand by their products and Marvin who cannot fix their mistakes. I am not super worried about the refund right now because i will dispute that with credit card if there is no refund in next week or so.

I need deck boards to replace the entire surface in bad condition. Michelle went thru several material options with quote. I can clearly review the costs I'll spend and more importantly, she gave great advice on how the house is used - primary, rental or for sale. The deck work is now finished. I don't need to order more materials.
