Iowa Landscape Supply

I’ve been looking for smaller boulders for garden edging. Stopped in here on a whim and found exactly what I wanted at a fair price. The staff was very nice and helped load up my new rocks. Thanks!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered 5 yards of "Black Dirt". The picture online showed good black soil with a few clumps here and there. What I got was mostly clay, huge clumps and hard as concrete. And they charged $40/yard for this useless stuff! Their offer to "fix it"? Charge me $150 an hour to bring out a skid loader and remove it. Or they said I could till this mess into my soil. Buyer beware indeed.

We've gone to Iowa Landscape Supply for mulch and other yard maintenance supplies in the past. They've always been helpful and have competitive pricing. My husband redid our back patio this summer and we ordered crushed stone base, paver blocks and some other supplies through them. Everything was great each step of the way! Good customer service with the ordering process (shout out to Kaitlin 👍), and delivered right at the time they said they would. Overall very helpful through the whole process. Wouldn't hesitate to work with them for any future projects

I had my wife order 20 tons of clean sifted fill dirt from Iowa landscape Supply on 6/29/22. This is a sample of what I found in the dirt after spreading it throughout my yard. This is broken glass. I made a phone call to Iowa Landscape Supply and spoke to Niko. I explained to him what I found in the dirt. He said they would bring another load the following day. They showed up the next day with a load of THE SAME GLASS FILLED DIRT. When I asked him why the second load had glass in it he informed me that he dug the dirt from the same spot at the same farm. He then said he would talk to the owner about getting dirt from another location and ensure that it was clean. He also told me that he would look into compensating us for the equipment rental. We spent over $300 on equipment we had rented to move the dirt. Now today after repeated phone calls I was able to contact the owner. He told me he could not give a credit for the equipment rental because he was out X amount of dollars due to his employees mistake. Bottom line is Iowa Landscape Supply sells clean fill dirt that is contaminated with broken glass.
