JPR was amazing to work with. Very right to the point about delivery and product at home base. Driver Edward did an amazing job dumping the gravel in a residential setting, got out of the truck to show me what he brought to confirm the order, and warned me of all the what if’s. We definitely will be back to do work with this company. Thank you JPR team for being so professional!!! Best wishes from The Trujillo family.
JPR damaged my vehicle while delivering a load of gravel. The dent on my fender is a 17×15 inch oval. I talked to the supervisor at the Rio Rancho office. She was vague and responded I don't know to my questions. She refused to give me the name of their insurance carrier and just insisted I go through my insurance. The next day I called their office and left a message for the manager. I had to call him back. They are being defensive and refusing to file the claim. I strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere. I will b using another vendor for the remainder of my project and for any future projects. I will be pursuing this to recover my damage repair costs.
An abundance of beautiful rock and top-notch customer service. This is the only decorative landscape supply company I recommend and choose personally.
I ordered 13 tons of Santa Fe Brown 7/8" gravel. We were told that the rock was dirty and to expect to have to separate the rock from the dirt, somewhat. In reality, this was a very misleading statement. If you order any of the Santa Fe Brown, you can expect 25-30% of the rock to be dirt. It is very nearly rocky dirt rather than the other way around. So, if you need 10 tons, expect 2.5-3 tons of it to be dirt. You will have to sift the dirt out. Spraying the pile won't do anything but congeal the dirt in the rock and it turns into the consistency of cement. If you don't sift the dirt out, you can expect to have weeds growing above your weed barrier fabric within a year. After the nightmare of sifting off all that dirt out of the rock, I realized I was about a ton short due to the excess of dirt. When I called back and complained about the understatement of the "dirty rock", I was told that they would discount another ton for me and deliver it even though their policy is to have a minimum delivery load of 3 tons. The discount was $4 for the ton and full price for the delivery. I told them I'd have to think about it. When I called back to move forward with $100 for 1 ton of rock with delivery, they put me on hold. 30 minutes later, nobody answered. I hung up, called them back now it seems they're screening my call because no one will answer. The only good thing I have to say is that the Tampico Pink rock I got from them was decent. Buyer beware if you're ordering the Santa Fe Brown. I feel that calling it dirty rock is a borderline outright lie. My initial purchase was 8 tons, I had to get 5 more tons on a second order and it still wasn't enough. Add 4 tons of Tampico Pink for a total of 17 tons for backyard that is 1700 square feet and it is still 1 ton short. That's how much dirt you can expect. I was going for a 2" cover of rock. I was not a difficult customer. I never yelled, or got angry. I simply voiced my complaint about "dirty rock". I was told that that my 25-30% dirt to rock ratio was reasonable and to be expected. If I had been told this at my initial purchase, I wouldn't have chosen that rock.
Great service, selection, and prices. Prompt and fast delivery. They were able to help us with getting estimates of how much gravel we needed for our backyard, too. Overall, we are very happy with their service and our newly landscaped backyard!
