Bark Place

The bark, sand, and rocks are great. DO NOT USE the compost in raised beds. There are thousands of live grass seeds in their compost. They start as individual blades of grass. You need to wait till it grows into clumps and forms lawn before you can pull it out. A real nightmare for my asparagus beds.

The Bark Place's customer service is an A+ from start to finish. Tell them your space and needs and they'll give you recommendations on product and how much. New to landscaping and they never once made me feel stupid or inadequate, if anything? They made me feel confident and welcomed. Thank you for an easy process and for making this anxious DIY back yard make over, feel 100% more doable! Great customer service! Also, way more affordable than box stores.

My go to now for soil for my plants and rocks. My landscaper recommended them instead of going to a big box store. The staff is super nice and helpful. Very low prices. Way cheaper to get soil there than to buy bags and the soil I get has compost in it. Love this place.

We ordered mulch over the phone and they delivered it the next day, right on time, and placed it exactly where we requested on the driveway. Everyone was pleasant to talk to and we had great customer service and a great shopping experience. We will definitely shop with The Bark Place whenever we need landscaping mulch. Thank you!

Unfortunately I will no longer be using this company as they have informed be that I live out of area -9.4 miles from their location so I must pay double the delivery fee and double the fuel surcharge. They have no desire to take into account return customer loyalty, declining fuel costs and they only want to spew their political beliefs as the cause of them overcharging customers. When I am told by a vendor to vote in better politicians as a response to suggesting they make necessary adjustments to materials/ goods costs rather than telling customers 9 miles is out of area and delivery and fule fees will be doubled.
