I looked online and locally in the Palm Beach Gardens Fl area for marble pavers and found Travertine Mart had the best prices. I happened to be near their main site near Miami and decided to stop by. They have a small showroom with the different kinds of products they have and the sales office employees were wonderful answering my questions and offering advice. Julie was great throughout the entire process and super fast to get my order shipped. One year after my first order I needed two additional pallets and Julie once again was wonderful helping me out. The product made it safely home, with probably less than 5 pavers with some damage in a total of ~12ve pallets in the first order, and 0 damage in the second order of 2 pallets. I ordered sandblasted white marble pavers for my pool deck, and look beautiful. I will recommend TravertineMart.
DO NOT BUY!!! We ordered 80 pieces and only received 40, were then told that even though I added 80 pieces to my cart that actually meant linear feet. 30 of the pieces we received have massive holes in them, corners are broken off and uneven thicknesses. It should state in the description of these that the quality is NOT standard it's unusable. After reaching out to this company we were then told too bad you spend $900 it is final sale. Awful product and even wrose customer service.
Used the pre-order to save some cost, received my order at promised and used the gorgeous travertine as coping for my pool, for planters, and even a retaining wall, couldn’t be happier… thank you travertine mart!!! I hope I’ll find another way to use it at my house!!
I was hesitant to buy a product online. The prices were very good and I went with the pre-order product. We waited over 3 months to receive the product, and communication and updates on timing were very hard to get. We were doing a large project and needed to order a large quantity of travertine. We ordered 7 crates of 1.25 inch travertine, and 2 crates of 0.5 inch travertine. I understand the material is coming from overseas, but it was very hard to get any updates on a delivery from the company. They tell you they will work with you on timing for delivery, but I received a call one day saying it was getting delivered the next day. I basically had no time to plan, but it did work out that my mason was able to get a forklift over in time. I had to spend an additional $75 on top of the $1,400 delivery fee to get them to switch from a van truck to a flatbed. This whole side of things was very rushed, and not coordinated well. On the day the order was delivered, I immediately noticed that what was supposed to be 2 crates (as stated on the order invoice) of the 0.5 inch travertine was stacked and loaded into 1 crate. They basically took a full crate and then laid the remaining travertine that should have been loaded in a separate crate on top of the first crate. I was already concerned, knowing that the 0.5 inch travertine would be more fragile. This was very careless on the companies part. As suspected, when I climbed on top of the flatbed, I could immediately tell that a lot of the 0.5 inch travertine was broken. I immediately called the company and was told by the company to not worry about it and take as many pictures of everything as possible and submit them to the claims department that it would be handled. They said I needed to make sure I submitted in 7 days. We had to unload everything that they overloaded in the single crate to be able to offload it as it was too much weight for the forklift. As we were unloading, we noticed a very large majority of the tile was broken. Once we unloaded everything, I took inventory of all of the tile and found that roughly 60% of the tile that was loaded on top had broken. I put together an email with pictures of all of the broken tile as instructed to do and submitted it to the claims department well within the 7 days. I had to send two separate follow up emails until I was finally responded to a week later. When I finally received a response, they said I should have received a delivery receipt from the driver (which I did not) and that their policy was that I would have had to make note of what was broken on the delivery receipt, which would not be possible given everything is loaded in crates. Also, again, I called the company immediately and told them what was going on and was instructed to take pictures and submit a claim within 7 days, which I did. I tried to work with them to get a reimbursement or new tile, but they have been very uncooperative and unresponsive. I did not want to post a review, or file a BBB rating, but have been left no choice. Buyer Beware!
Was able to source travertine from across the US cheaper than my local dealer. I was weary at first that I would get what I was looking for without seeing it in person, but sales team helped every step of the way. Shipping came fast. Wont hesitate to order again.
