I'm a licensed contractor for 40 years, and presently the on-site manager for a project on a combat wounded veteran's home in Harrison Twp. I ordered 5 yards of 21A delivered to the site on Saturday May 10th 2025. Your driver Rick arrived on his last load of the day in a already crappy mood. I showed him where I'd like the dump. He backed in and then got stuck trying to drive out. Called ME every name under the sun (can't post here,) but was hugely disrespectful to me personally. If he felt he couldn't pull out without being stuck he should have told me his truck didn't have 4 wheel drive. We had a backhoe on site that pulled him out however should have told us truck didn't have 4x4. This delivery WASN'T a donation, this combat wounded veteran paid for it in advance. Horrible company, rotten driver, disrespectful even after I got backhoe to pull him out. Worst company I have personally dealt with. Will NEVER use them again. Probably should have checked here for other people's comments before hiring them.

Had mulch delivered today in Clinton Twp from Dales and dales son was extremely helpful with the amount I needed. I highly recommend this company not only for the great price but more importantly the quality and professionalism that they provide!!! Call them first and you will get amazing results!! The customer service was fine and they loaded me up quickly, but never buy topsoil from this place. I told the lady I would pay extra for good dirt because I was seeding and over seeding. She told me it I was good dirt, as you can see from the pick that every place I used their dirt 20% of the seed came up. All the places I did not use their dirt came in great. I don’t care about the little bit of money. It’s the time and effort and all the watering I had to do for nothing. In the photo I over seeded and their dirt is the bare spot.

I really didn’t want to leave a bad review, but after multiple negative experiences with one of their salt loaders, I feel it’s necessary. There’s an employee with an eye injury who shouldn’t be working with the public—he has zero patience and takes no responsibility for poor loading. If he makes a bad load and spills half of it into the truck bed, his response is basically, “Buy a bigger spreader.” On the other hand, there’s another loader who is always in a great mood and takes the time to load properly with the customer in mind. It’s a night-and-day difference between the two. The final straw was when I called to bring up the repeated bad service, and the woman who answered dismissed my concerns, claiming they have no rude drivers—just stressed ones. That’s not an excuse for poor customer service. It seems like a great company overall, but a couple of bad employees are making the experience worse than it should be.

I went here looking for rocks for my landscaping. I was surprised to see everything they have for your landscaping. You can buy in huge bulk or just a couple of bags. The service was great and quick and price was decent. I would check Dales out the next time you landscape. It is a family owed business so lets support
