Every time the owner answers the phone he seems inebriated. I ordered 50 yrd's of black mulch to start 120 yrd job. His driver shows up at noon with 10 yards of brown. He said he would go back and get the correct color in ordered. He never came back and him and the owner named Tony would not answer my calls. This went on all day until he found out the size of the property and that I was going to pay cash. Then he would not stop texting me with excuses about his heath, and that I was "cruel " for "being upset because he was in dialysis?" How that had anything to do with the mulch being delivered correctly, I'll never know?" I had guys on the job, that I had to pay. So not only did I lose 2 days of work but had to pay out 400 bucks to the guys I had sitting around doing nothing. I've seen all kinds of unprofessional things in this business, but this one was brutal. I have the texts. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The owner is a unprofessional scam artist who will give you a bunch of sob stories about how he will inevitably screw you over. I called D&D INDUSTRIES!!!!, "the owners name escapes me at the moment because I put him in my contacts as "THE BEST MULCH GUY EVER!" I believe his name is Dave". Call him. Not only was he 15 dollars cheaper per yard, he was reliable and honest and didn't give me 10 texts filled with crazy excuses on why he couldn't do the job or why he ignored my calls and many texts for 6 hours. Tony texted me that he would send me the 400 I put out for the guys I had on the job but I'm not holding my breath, but I will update this if he does. I pulled it off but had to bring on 2 extra guys to do so in the time frame i was left with. I wouldn't trust this guy to deliver me a pizza let alone over 2000$ worth of mulch. You've been warned so buyer be ware.

I got Tony's number online and was so happy to make him/his company as our first choice. We required 20 yard of topsoil and some mulch for our lawn and he delivered it same day. His pricing and services is great.

Tony is an awesome guy and very friendly. Jim that delivered the mulch was also extremely nice. After years of lugging bag after bag of mulch from Lowes, I decided to make my life much easier and called up Affordable. It was cheaper than buying from Lowes and also saved me a couple of hours of heading to the store, loading up the SUV (which couldn't hold anywhere near what Affordable delivered to me), and then unloading at the house. I highly recommend Tony and Affordable the price for mulch and delivery is less expensive then what Lowes or Home Depot charged for just the mulch (no delivery). Not only for the price, but it is great to support a local Stamford company!

Tony is very easy to do business with and wants to make sure that his customers are happy with the product. Very good prices and can normally deliver the same day that the order is placed. I've been using him for the past four years, and plan to continue to do so for many years to come!

Great customer experience. I called Tony to arrange a (free) delivery. Then, I saw it was going to rain and called him back. He arranged for the delivery to be make within that hour of that time. Beyond the call amazing. The next day, my gardeners said they thought the amount was a bit short. I called Tony. He assured me that it was properly measured but went on to delivery an extra load - free of charge and (again) within an hour just so there would be no questions as to my satisfaction. Wow.
