Boro Sand and Stone Corp.

This place has been a mainstay of the Attleboro area my entire life, good crew, friendly, prices are good. And the north Attleboro site has compost and they do a great job at that.

I do not recommend that you, or allow any contractor to, purchase loam from Boro Sand and Stone Corp. for your yard. We had a septic system installed last August and our contractor got the loam from them. To this point, we have found over 400 pieces of broken glass, pottery, and shards of plastic, all of which could cut any one walking in bare feet in our back yard. The salesman even sent a crew to pick up any visible pieces last fall, but we kind finding more every time it rains. This could have resulted in 400 trips to the emergency room, and we have had to make sure that all visitors have some type of footwear on. Do not use Boro for loam!
