I had a good experience with these guys up until my rock was delivered to my house. That is when everything went wrong and Wolverine would not do anything to fix it. The good. I went to inquire about rock, landscaping fabric, and delivery. I liked their display of decorative rock out front. Clear and concise made it easy to choose. I ended up Choosing their Artic Gray 2", 8 yards, and ordering some landscaping fabric. Delivery was quick, 2 days from ordering, and was delivered right where I wanted. Driver was great with all the confusion that was going on at my place. The bad. After the rock was delivered is where my concern started. The rock was horribly dirty. The size was not consistent either. There were lots of chips and rocks about 6 inches in size. Not just a little bit either. When I tried to clean the rock, shovel it into the wheelbarrow, and then dump it out I got tons of bad looking spots that consisted of small chip patches. At first, I thought it was just a little dusty, but I did not initially realize how dirty this rock was. I layed out a couple of yards in my flower beds and tried rinsing it off. So much dirt came off that it created a thick layer of dirt on top of the yard fabric I layed down. Now weeds have a place to start growing. Waste of time and money laying the yard fabric with how much dirt is on top of it now. It looks good on top but as soon as the rock is disturbed the dirty side shows again. I guess it will get clean with rain and time. Still disappointing. I now thought I could just wash the rock on the street and then install it. I spent 2 hours with the garden hose trying to clean the 6 yards of rock. I could never get anything but the top side of the visible rocks clean. All of the dirt and chips were driven down deeper in the pile. There was no way to clean these rocks completely without rolling the rocks individually hosing each and every one off. This took a lot of time. I took a bucket of the rocks into the office to show the staff. All they said was to just install it and hose it off. Great, I tried that already and just made a huge muddy mess. Other than the quick advice, they do not clean rock as a service and they did not offer any other adjustments. They did not care at all. What was I going to do at this point? I had it installed and cleaned. They knew this and were not going to do anything. I was expecting 2", reasonably clean rock. This would have been very easy to install. Instead I got rock that looked like it was taken straight from the quarry with no effort to size, clean, or prepare the rock. It took forever to clean and install the rock. Very disappointed, will not be back, would not recommend it.
Wolverine helped me out when I accidentally cemented gold ball that sits or "was" supposed to sit top of my titan Flag pole, til I found out it was at the bottom of the tube!๐ฌ They had/have them in stock, thank god, so I bought another to replace the one that now is "time capsule"๐คฃ Flag pole is now complete๐ค They also carry a wide range of landscape materials and landscape supplys....I will definitely be using them for supplier for future products. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly .
This place has all the outdoor material you could use at a reasonable price. I drive from Rexburg up to them because their pricing is so much better. Check them out for your mulch, rock, rubber and fire pit needs.
They were incredibly friendly and helpful when I called and when they delivered the sand and gravel. They were booked the Friday I called so told me I would probably be waiting until Monday. Nope, Saturday morning it arrived so I could work on my project over the weekend! Great service, will be using again!
We spent almost $600 for our 5 yards of rock and to have it delivered only to have over half of it to be the wrong size and a ton of dirt mixed into it. I called to talk to them about it and 2 different people told me to either use a leaf blower on it or to wash it out and then if I need more they will bring some in to cover the top. My husband has spent more time leaf blowing it then actually getting it laid out and there is still a ton of dirt in it. I paid for the 1 inch black and tan rock which is anywhere from 3/4-1.5 inch. This is ridiculous how much work we have to do to clean it out especially for the price we are paying.
