Southwest Boulder & Stone

Ordered 3 yards of premium walk on mulch. As we were laying the mulch we realized there was a lot of gravel and rocks mixed in, which is absurd because it should've been pure mulch. Spent hours trying to hand pick out the rocks but gave up this labor intensive process. I've ordered thousands of pounds of mulch from them over the years, and this is the final straw. Go to Miramar landfill for free mulch that isn't contaminated like it is at Southwest Boulder and Stone.

I use this place often for my projects.. the staff here always performs above and beyond my expectations.. in particular on this day allusion helps me a lot with a project it was much appreciated.. keep up the good work guys..

Southwest has a good variety of landscape rock selections at decent prices. Some of them were more expensive than other companies, but majority of the options we were considering had better prices. Also, Shawna has been super helpful - she's very knowledgable in rock types and purposes. I went back a few times to find the right rock for our sidwalk landscaping project, and every time I contacted her - either in person, via email or on the phone - she has been very professional and helpful. What an amazing experience!!!!! I went there for some sand stone and rocks to build a fish tank cave system. Everyone was super nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. They brought me a pallet for 10 pounds of rocks! My cashier Amber was great. She was really cool and knowledgeable about the stones I was buying and just a sweetheart.
