Knife River Corporation

I contacted Knife River asking if they could pave a new driveway for us 100 miles away from Missoula. Others in the area were done taking new orders for the year. Mike E was prompt in communications and gave me a quote and said he believed they could get it done this year. Several weeks later I got a message they were coming the next day and indeed, they showed up when promised. The pad was already in place so with a few touch-ups to the grading they got underway. Within 4 hours the job was done and they were gone. They cleaned up nicely and the job is shown in the picture. I've already recommended them to someone else for next year. To top it all off, they didn't use as much material as expected so the knocked 10% off the invoice. Would definitely use again if needed. Thanks, guys!

John, who delivered the cement on 10/04/23 is awesome! He went above and beyond to help us with preparing our area for cement because we obviously didn’t know what we were doing like he did. It was not his job to do what he did—we are still blown away by how wonderful he was/is. His stories and Monty python accent was hilarious. We will never forget John and his kindness and how he went the extra mile with us. If he’s a reflection of this company, he makes it look so fabulous! Oh, and our cement patio area looks fantastic!

Thanks knife river!! All of you that are working on the Russell street project are doing a terrific job! Traffic has flowed through all the construction without me ever having been stuck in traffic! You rock!!! And it all looks so beautiful!! Good work!! You make Missoula proud!!!

All the people with Knife River were prompt and willing to answer any questions. I appreciated that they wrapped our house before they poured the concrete and kept things clean. An unforeseen problem with our old backfill against the garage was causing our old concrete to crack and flex. They dug out the old backfill and brought in better fill that will keep the new concrete in much better shape into the future. The extra effort without the increase in cost was extremely appreciated. I would call them again for any concrete needs in the future.

Knife river did a considerable amount of work on our property in Missoula including a new concrete driveway as well as sidewalk replacements. Several section are beginning to crack now. When asked they said it was normal....! I don't recommend this company. They don't seem to care about the concerns of their customers and will not stand behind their work.
