Keleny Top Soil, Inc.

Last summer I ordered 20 cubic yards of black soil to spread 4-6 inches deep our newly graded backyard, and it was very black, but I'm not sure why. It was oddly textured and seemed devoid of organic content. It wouldn't hold moisture, would barely grow grass even though I watered it religiously, for weeks, months now, actually. In the many bare spots where grass never sprouted, I resorted to digging in quality "bagged soils" and planting more seed; I immediately noticed a huge difference as grass grew ravenously in those areas. Now I feel compelled to work in and spread these expensive soils over the entirety of our very large back yard. I paid over $1,000 thousand dollars for Keleny soils, now I think I'm looking at another $500 to increase the organic content of the soil from Keleny so I can actually have a yard. The picture shows the area where I enhanced the soil, surrounded by areas not enhanced with organic content. I gave them three stars for their excellent service. Its just too bad they don't mix in some organic content and make REAL SOIL.

Just received 4 yards of their garden mix. On time, good communication, dropped right where I requested, high quality product. Will be ordering again next spring!
