We live in Portage and have very poor, sandy soil. I am an avid flower gardener and my husband is concerned with growing a better, thicker lawn. For the past several years we have had top soil delivered and this past year I added the garden compost soil. This past year I used both to amend the soil whenever I had new plants or plants I needed to move. This certainly gave my plants new life.
