Soil Plus

Shoot, I'd give them 10 stars if I could. They have an amazing wide variety of products; from soil to base rock to decorative colored lava rock. But what always makes a business is its people. I initially called them looking for a specific product, which they were out of stock on. They took my number (voluntarily) and indeed called me about 2 weeks later when it came in. Who does that anymore? For rock no less. When I came to get product, Cherlyn was beyond helpful and patient with me, always smiling and enjoying her interactions and obviously her job. Exactly the same interactions with Devan (the person who loads your goods). Devan helped me choose product in the beginning (bringing me samples), and later when we created our own custom driveway mix. On Saturday's another yard loader (Brad I think) and Monday's Cherlyn's colleague (not sure of her name), continues the legacy without missing a beat. 15 trips later, and always exactly the same service; professional, fun, truly interactive (not phony aloha) quick and fair. Though now retired, I have owned many businesses and you can't find the kind of consistently good employees Soil Plus has without doing something right.

Dodgy. In 2022 I picked up 1 yard of gravel and spread it around to repair a driveway. In 2024 I ordered 4 cubic yards delivered and it didn’t cover more than the one cubic yard 2 year prior. I don’t know who’s measuring their cubic yards but this doesn’t make sense.

Their office staff is very helpful. They get me on the delivery schedule asap. The driver is always professional and calls ahead of time.

Erin, went way out of his way to drop the soil to make it easier to spread. Very happy with the service, outstanding.

Quick and convenient. Only place to go if you don't have a big tractor/dump. Gravel, soil, blends. Good stuff. Staff is knowledgable and friendly. They close at 4 on the dot, get there well before.
