This business and staff are amazing! Earlier this month, I needed to purchase some sand and topsoil for a small home project. My water main line from the water meter to the irrigation backflow preventer sprung a leak and needed repair. Since I only needed a small amount of sand and topsoil, I began looking for these items. The big box stores had ridiculous prices and the other local building materials stores only sold large amounts and did not want to bother with a small DIY project, even though I would go and pick up the product. When I called Vaquero Stone & Supply on a Saturday, I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful rep named Andres. He recommended Cushion Sand and some Top Soil, and gave me his very reasonable pricing. Andres was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Since they were getting ready to close, I called Monday and spoke with Benjamin. He was extremely kind and helpful, and I said that I would be there later in the day. When I arrived, Benjamin assisted me and he filled a few of the 5-gallon pails that I brought with me, with sand and top soil. Benjamin mentioned that they are a family owned business and they are there to help everyone, no matter the size of the project. Just like their website says: “No project is too big or too small!”. Great products, pricing and service! They have a wide variety of sand, gravel and stone. Quite the place and I would definitely recommend them and will return when I need their products and service again!
