Pope Sand, Gravel & Mulch

Great selection of materials, only place I know of to get some of the products we use regularly, like the #9 stone in this picture. Highly recommend!

I needed some gravel for a mini pond. I stopped by ahead of time to understand the process since I had never bought stone from a yard vs a Lowes or Home Depot. You can buy the stone by the 2.5 gallon measuring bucket that they provide but you must bring your own tote home containers. They suggested that I bring 5 gallon buckets. When I got there, I went to the office and was given the 2.5 gallon measuring bucket and a shovel. The young man suggested that I load my 5 gallon bucket while it was sitting in my car so that I did not have to try and lift it. (I think they would have rescued the lady who did not think of this before hand if they needed to, but I followed their suggestion). I drove to the pile of stones that I wanted shoveled stones into the bucket, dumped them into the 5 gallon bucket in my car and then drove back to the office and told them how many buckets I loaded up. I paid and headed out. Very easy. Loved being able to select the amount of stone that I wanted.

I've done lots of business with Pope's over the past 5 years and they are my go to supplier for mulch, clean sand, and river stone for landscaping projects.. I would highly recommend them above any other landscape suppliers in the area.

Great place for mulch, rock and sand. We go over, have them load the pickup bed, and pay. Easy and lots cheaper than bagged stuff.

Very friendly staff and great price, they offer many kinds of mulch, rock, and sand, etc at good prices. You're also supporting local business, keep in mind it's cash only before you head out. Just bring a truck, tell them what you want and that's it.
