Great place for diy landscaping materials Friendly staff, great prices, and they get you loaded up and on your way quickly.

I have been buying quite a bit of rock and dirt/compost, since we have been landscaping our yards. probably a total of 12 yards so far, all from Hasties. Usually use Jackson Road, but today West Sac. Usually Hasties has been great on quantities and quality. Not really happy today. Ordered 3/4 yard of 3/4 x 1.5 river rock, and 1/4 yard of 2x6 cobbles. Probably right on quantity, but barely. I asked for the cobbles to be loaded last. There was so much dirt mixed in with the cobbles, it will be a real pain to use as planned. Going to have to clean them all. I realize they are not washed, but I am talking loads of dirt. See picture.

These guys are always patient. Even when it takes me 15 minutes to make a phone sale, they're always nice to me. They always have what ispeed and they're always quick with their service. I honestly could not complain in any kind of way possible. They have an extremely large selection. Of rocks gravel dirt sand Is at a really affordable price

Quick and dirty. They just filled my Ranger bed with the mulch I needed. Made two trips for a particular landscaping job, and both visits were amazingly fast and easy. The convenience alone was worth the cost of the mulch itself. No big box store lines, just pull up, que up, get filled up, pay inside. Love it. Bonus: no plastic waste!
