Conmat Inc. Sand & Gravel

Super disappointed going with Conmat for our backyard rock. Had a delivery scheduled, and the hour it’s supposed to show up, they call and said they ran out of my 3/4 basalt. Their response was they don’t know when they would get more so they sent me on a goose chase to their pit locations to look at other options. When I got there, I couldn’t even look at the rock they recommended which was 3/8 basalt. I Ended up going with the 3/8 and I asked multiple times what the final price would be and they said around $330, when the rock was delivered, the receipt showed it to being almost 500$. I called and asked why and there’s a 160$ delivery fee, which would have been nice to know when I asked. Also, tried talking to a higher position to see if there was anything they could do about the inconvenience and they were just rude over the phone, no help at all. Wouldn’t mind paying that much if the rock actually looked decent but it was just filled with dirt and wood scraps, not a good place for a home landscape. Also heard multiple neighbors have had disaster situations with them, way better local companies to support than this.

We have had 10 supertruck deliveries from Conmat and their customer service is excellent. They are the only ones we call for our gravel and rock needs.

I had a need come up for gravel and as anticipated they were busy, but between the delivery crew and the office gals, they made it happen and delivered 36 yards the day I called. Love their service, great product. I will keep doing business with this company!

Best supplier of sand and gravel and drain rock in the cda area. You can order 20 yard super dumps and they can normally get to you within a day or 2. Prices are extremely fare for homeowner projects also
